Restoring Microsoft Outlook Express

With Outlook open Click File.

Next Click Import and Export.

Select Personal Folder File (.pst) Click Next

Next click Browse

Choose the location of the recovered (.pst) Once you have clicked the (.pst) file click Open.

This will take you back to the Import Personal Folders. Choose from the options the best serves your needs then Click Next.

The Import Personal Folders dialog box will appear. Under Select the folder to import select Personal Folders check Include subfolders if they are required. Select the option to import into the current or into the same folder. Click Finish.

To restore outlook express files.
Copy the Identities directory to \Documents and Settings\ <USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\.
